The Ram 3500 comes standard with a best-in-class 410-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 gas engine. It is also available with a 6.7-liter Cummins® turbodiesel I6 engine and in a high output version of the same diesel engine. An eight-speed automatic transmission works with the HEMI® gas engine and the standard diesel engine, while the high output diesel engine works with a six-speed Aisin-sourced automatic transmission.
